Your spirit runs wild and free
It just amazes me how calm and collect you appear to be.
To me, you are astonishing
Like a flower in spring, carefree and serene.
Your petals are torn one by one
They gently settle to earth, they've been worn.
Dull and colorless, dying of sadness
Laying down surrounded by life's madness.
But fret not, a day will arrive
When the sadness subsides,
When spring comes around
there will be no need to frown.
Life will cherish their blossom that once stood tall
No matter how small.
